This upcoming May 9, we will be shading names on our ballots. Each shade comes with great responsibility and to educate you on the power of voting, LENTE, Meta and Podcast Network Asia’s Podmachine are here to help you in this special mini-series. Welcome to “Shading Someone on your Ballot,” let’s take a deep dive into the things we need to know before election day comes. Listen to the episodes every Tuesday and Thursday wherever you listen to your podcasts!

“Ano Bang Ambag Mo” is a common rebuttal to anyone who complains about the government/society. Episodes in this podcast will talk about ways citizens can contribute (ambag) to the country. Episodes revolve around contributions to different sectors of the country (e.g. ambag sa ekonomiya, ambag sa lipunan, ambag sa kalikasan etc.) and are titled with common lines from social media.

It’s important to know what to do before and during the elections – but it’s also equally important to know what to do after casting your ballots. And that’s our topic of the day! In this episode, we’ll find out more about post-elections, and what our roles are in keeping our government accountable with guests, Atty. Vann de la Cruz and Jude Liao from the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV).
